This summer Ben and I got a vacation of our own, no kids although we missed them terribly the whole time. We decided to go to New Orleans, LA to visit my Best Friend Anna and her family. Neither of us had ever been before so it was an all new adventure. As we arrived we could see the swamp from the plane windows we really started getting excited. while we were there we stayed on Base in Belle Chase with Anna and about every day we would go the Algiers and take the ferry across the Mississippi and land on the other side on Canal Street. We spend the 8 days we were there exploring the French Quarter, The Aquarium, The swamp (scary) and the cemeteries.that is defiantly a place i would return to. it is an expensive town so if you plan to visit make sure you have a lot of money. i can't wait to go back with Ben's mom and explore some more.
